About Us
As experienced real estate investors ourselves, we understand the importance of balancing time and money. When I first started out in real estate, I was working a full-time job, starting and raising a family, and attending college all while launching a new company. During that hectic period, I tried to save every possible dollar by self-managing my properties instead of hiring a property management service. However, this approach backfired, as I became spread too thin and neglected proper oversight of my investments.

Without proper walkthroughs and inspections, some properties fell into poor condition and I did not discover this until the tenants had moved out and it was too late. To make it worse, I did not have proper documentation of the properties condition when they moved in – leaving me with no valid proof that the tenant mistreated my property, which left me with no leg to stand on in seeking legal recoup of expenses to repair the property.

After a few too many properties were left in poor condition, I realized I needed to take a more professional approach to safeguarding my investments. That’s why I created Check It Out, a walkthrough service that inspects your property for you and identifies any issues noticed, saving you the time and hassle of dealing with tenants mistreating your assets. Our services provide you with an unbiased third-party walkthrough inspection that provides you with the documentation you need to properly record your properties condition before move-in, during tenant occupancy, and at move out.
